Szilvia Vitos

Szilvia Vitos is a Leadership Wellbeing Coach & Consultant.

She tells us that, “I walk the talk as this is exactly part of what I help people achieve through my coaching services. I don’t believe in work-life balance, rather work-life harmony. It’s not a matter of what day it is (weekend vs weekday) or what time within the day, but a matter of how to incorporate all elements of life in a way that it supercharges my productivity. Prioritizing tasks consciously, focusing on one element at a time, eliminating distractions, giving myself white space to recharge, eating healthy food, exercising regularly, getting my sleep on point, and constantly learning and upgrading my mindset are all essential ingredients. Besides that, delegation and building a team is absolutely crucial, even if it is a cost-efficient VA in the beginning.”

When faced with unexpected hurdles in your business, how do you stay strong?

Every problem arises for us to learn something. Looking for the opportunity in every challenge and asking myself “How is this happening FOR me exactly now and exactly this way?” opens up the possibilities. Strengthening my mindset and using the same tools that I teach my clients to regulate my emotions and stay grounded at all times serve me really well. Having a solution-driven approach is important and the willingness to learn and grow.

How do you determine the success of your business beyond financial metrics, focusing on factors like customer satisfaction and community impact?

For me the biggest success is measured in the transformation my clients achieve through my programs. I’m here to make an impact and change lives and that’s the same way I define success.

Can you recount a pivotal moment in your business journey where you saw remarkable growth or witnessed a transformative change, showcasing the impact of your products or services?

There are many, but one of my favorites is when I received a journal entry from one of my clients who is in a Regional Director position with huge responsibility. She has described her previous couple of weeks and how despite all the challenges such as business travels, significant presentations, customer meetings and more she was able to stay in charge throughout, using the tools I shared with her. She was calm, not stressed out at all, in control, and beautifully navigated through day after day by focusing on the very next steps. Any such feedback always fills my heart with gratitude as this is exactly the impact I’m here to make by helping senior Corporate Leaders live a happier and healthier life.

In your view, how crucial is mentorship for the success of small businesses, and how have mentors influenced your own entrepreneurial path?

Mentorship is extremely important in so many ways. First of all, finding the right mentors for ourselves is already a challenge and I would encourage everyone to keep looking for that person until someone really clicks for you. I consider several individuals as mentors in my life, yet there is one who has the biggest impact on how I build up my business, how I shape my mindset, and how I grow as a person. A mentor can speed up the success path significantly. No one was born knowing it all, and there are always people out there who already have walked the same path we are aiming for. So why not let them show the fastest and most efficient way to get there?

What is your business focused on, and how does it contribute to making a positive difference in the world?
