Unveiling Magic: A Journey from Corporate Manager to Life Coach

Coach Joelle Prochera is a 20+ year Executive Coach & Life Coach, International Speaker, Entrepreneur, future author, and Messenger of Magic. But before all that she was a branch manager in Corporate America with a dream and no clear way to fulfill it.

Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?

I remember when I took my first psychology class in university – I LOVED it and couldn’t imagine why I would ever take a class in anything else ever again. And yet, I knew that I didn’t want to become a therapist, or a psychologist, that seemed hard and a little heavy. What I wanted to do was help people that were happy, healthy, successful, who wanted more, But at that time, there was no job like that so I went into the corporate world. For years I was a branch manager in Canada and the US for an international staffing company, but I always knew that I wanted more, I just couldn’t imagine how I could ever be qualified to do anything other than what I did. But I stayed curious. And I wrote down my dream. The dream of having conversations with people about life, of giving people back to themselves, of working from home and having inspired peers. This was always what I wanted. There just was no job that did that until one day it had a name – Life Coaching. That was in 2001, and it didn’t happen overnight. Once it had a name, I could claim it and head towards the profession and the future I was called to.

Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

At Coach Joelle, we provide executive coaching and life coaching services, speaking, and facilitation, to support top performers and emerging leaders to fulfill their career aspirations joyfully and in flow. But we are secretly on a mission of magic. That’s right. Magic. Magic, As I define it, is “the visible residue of the unseen order of the universe.” And that magic has been showing itself to me through profound synchronicities, serendipities, signs, guidance, and dreams coming true for over two decades. It’s been so persistent and obvious that today I’m stepping out with the message that Magic is Real! It is my joy and my honor to share the Methods of Magic to support all people in connecting to, working within and dancing with life’s magic.

What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?

I’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of clients all around the world. I’ve mentored and coached over 100 of the planet’s top coaches and was a lead coach with Marcus Buckingham’s strength’s movement. But my greatest accomplishment is a life of dreams dreamed and fulfilled. My dreams, my clients’ dreams, my husband’s dreams. To support my client’s and audiences to witness and navigate the beauty and wonder of their essential dreams, to hone their mindset and work with the order (the magic) all around them is the greatest joy.

How has your life changed because of your venture?

My life has changed in every possible way since becoming a professional coach. I have freedom of time, freedom of location and finances that far exceed my corporate job. I’m able to navigate my life at my own pace on my own terms and help others to do the same. The future’s so bright and regardless of economic downturns or other things we might read in the news, I feel confident and empowered and in charge of my future. This is one of the great gifts of entrepreneurship combined with a powerful mindset practice.

What are you working on right now?

I’m currently in the process of building a new website, acquiring a literary agent, and securing a book deal. It is an exciting and slightly terrifying moment as I step out into this next phase of my business and life with the message that Magic is Real, that there is an unseen order to life that we can learn to observe, connect with, and move within for a life that fits us and suits our soul. A life of joy and flow for those who are open.

Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.

Believe in your dreams. Especially the dreams that have always been with you – the ones that are deep in your heart, that are persistent, and calling you. Even if they seem unlikely or impossible, even if other people don’t understand them or think you can’t possibly have them. I believe that those dreams are there for a reason; And that reason is to guide us to the future that is ours.. Write them down. Trust that they are not a whim, not a fantasy, but something important – essential information -Coming attractions – A preview of your future. And then watch, listen, notice… Do you feel pulled in a particular direction? Is there action to take? What is there to do now? Yes! Do that. Go there. Believe.
