Sandy Christiansen

Sandy Christiansen is a Fertility Coach and Embryologist. Having worked in IVF for 10 years, she has often offered fertility support to friends and has seen a large gap in the treatment. IVF can be monumentally overwhelming and while the main focus of every clinic is to get you pregnant, some don’t have the capacity to give you the guidance you may need along the way. As a fertility coach, she guides people through fertility and infertility, provides IVF treatment guidance, and helps alleviate the isolation that can come with fertility issues.

Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?

I worked as an embryologist in fertility clinics for 10 years before becoming a coach. I’ve helped thousands of patients through IUI and IVF treatments. I love the patient interaction and that’s what inspired me to become a coach.

Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

I support people with any fertility or family-forming related questions or concerns they may have. I provide guidance and support to my clients so they can feel confident about their fertility journey and make informed decisions along the way.

What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?

I won an award for the best fertility coaching service in the UK in 2022. I have published a scientific abstract at a large European conference in 2021. My clients are grateful to have someone really listen to them and take the time to explain things to them. I give them privacy, I make them feel comfortable and offer empathy and assure them that their feelings are valid. I offer a safe space where I aim to empower my clients with knowledge and confidence.

How has your life changed because of your venture?

I love my job. I love being able to connect with my clients and help them on their journey. I was so scared to start my own business but it’s been incredible. I’ve had the opportunity to continue to grow as a coach and undertake wonderful courses and add to my qualifications. I’ve also been able to create content that helps people who may not be able to afford 1 on 1 coaching. I’ve done free webinars and created on demand courses for a small fee.
