What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?

I have always been an overachiever. Always exploring new ideas. I spent most of my younger years in performance.  Dancing and singing on many stages. Little did I know this would pave the way for the events and public speaking for my future.  I have been a leader in every job I have ever had. Always wanting to give my best work. Helping others in the process. I have been coaching people my entire life. I just didn’t realize it until it became part of my responsibilities as a director in the spa industry.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”

It’s funny because I wasn’t looking for it.  I knew I was ready for more in my life. I had hit all the goals I set for myself. I felt that something bigger was coming. I was late to the party to join social media.  I started writing again, which I hadn’t done since I was a kid. I found my love for it and began posting. People started reaching out to me , telling me how my words gave them hope. Then they started asking if I was coaching. A light bulb went off. I started my company a few months later.

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

It is my mission to inspire people to believe in themselves. I am able to see how special each person is that I meet. They don’t see it. Being able to show them how truly great they are is a gift. I know from my own struggles how deep in the mud and darkness you can get. I came out of it stronger and with more clarity. Those times are very difficult. I did it alone. Mostly out of guilt and shame. Not wanting anyone to know what I was really going through. Not knowing how to ask for help.

My goal is to never let anyone go through this alone. It can be done. It is a gift to have someone be by your side, supporting and guiding you through it.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Start living for yourself. We so caught up in what is expected of us, that we forget to live our lives on our terms. Each of us as a special fire inside us that makes us who we are. Don’t put it out. Follow Your dreams. Not someone else’s.  We can achieve anything we want when we believe in ourselves.  Don’t let missteps make you believe you can’t do something. Those steps are trying to teach you.Listen to the lesson and grow from it. I would love for the world to remember what integrity is. Manners,  honor and respect are far more important than being right.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?

It’s fantastic to have more women leaders in the workplace. Using our own experiences from working in a male dominated world, is creating a growth mindset perspective. New ideas, efficiency  and empathy are at the forefront of equality.

Teams are being heard and understood. They are encouraged to participate and show up as themselves for themselves. Women bring a lot to the table. It’s fantastic that they are finally showing up, speaking up and rising up to change the game.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

You are more inspiring than you know.  Everything you have been through in your life has been to get you to this moment. The moment when you accept that challenge. Stand up for yourself.  Take that leap of faith.  Silence that inner critic. That is not your voice. Let go of people and things that don’t align with your core values.  Each misstep is a lesson. Don’t let failure derail you, let it empower you. You have a gift, let it guide you. Don’t let anyone take you away from you. “Follow Your Inner Compass. “-Claudia Wyatt
