Ria Mestiza
Ria Mestiza is a Holistic Health Coach & Intuitive Leader. She is an all in one practitioner coach and healer who holistically helps her clients in every realm necessary in their lives with specific supportive and personalized measures for the individual.
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?
I was a training and events manager by day and a stage manager, events organizer by night.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”
My background in dance, choreography and martial arts lured me to want to teach group fitness which led me to the certification, but I fell in love with 1on1 coaching.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
My aim is to empower people with the infrastructure and knowledge to live their best life to their greatest potential.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
Being recognized as the #1 Health & Wellness Coach in Australia was a tremendous honour and commemoration of my then 10 year anniversary in this industry.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
I would like to see more women unafraid and unapologetic in showing up as their authentic selves. Strong, feminine and beautiful in all of our own unique ways.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?
I love seeing the growth in empowering female leadership. Their confidence is a ripple effect of confidence for successors to follow suit and create the platform of equal opportunities and notoriety we deserve.
