Ilene Gottlieb, RN
Ilene Gottlieb, RN, President/CEO Vibrational Healing From The Heart, Inc., is known as The Heart Healer. A facilitator of Healing, she combines over 50 years in Nursing and 28 years in Vibrational Healing to create a holistic approach to clearing blocks and promote energetic healing on all levels. She helps an International clientele of heart-centered individuals and entrepreneurs who struggle with trauma, fear, self-sabotaging, negative thoughts or behaviors and self-worth issues, to experience inner peace, self-confidence, empowerment and clarity about their soul’s purpose. She teaches Conscious Heart Connection and Ho’oponopono, the ancient Hawaiian problem-solving process as tools to promote healing of childhood trauma and so much more.
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?
I grew up in a small suburban community with my parents and older sister with a very close relationship with my Mother’s sister and her family. My life was centered around family, our Temple community and I always knew I wanted to be a Nurse “when I grew up”.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”
An interesting question. My career in Nursing has had three distinctly different phases, all of which I have loved immensely! When I completed my education and became licensed as a Registered Nurse, my first career involved working mostly in hospital settings with children first and then with women and children. I also worked with adult Medical-Surgical patients as well as those in Hospice. My second career was as a Nurse/Legal Assistant, working with a mid-sized law firm that specialized in health care law and medical malpractice defense. While working at the law firm I had a spiritual awakening in 1994 that connected me consciously to what I believe is my Creator, Source, God, known by so many names, as well as my innate gifts of energy awareness, spiritual connectedness, empathy and intuition. Synchronistically, right after that, I was guided to complete a certification program in Healing Touch. This is a biofield therapy that is an energy-based approach with a goal to restore balance to the energy system that is us and supports healing on all levels from the holistic perspective, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. And so my entrepreneurial journey began. In 1998 I took a leap of faith based upon my intuitive “knowing” to leave my traditional 9-5 job and fully embrace being an entrepreneur and develop my private practice of Vibrational Healing. It was a scary time but it was a decision that defied logic and was soul motivated. It was not until 2013 that I actually incorporated my business to what it is now, Vibrational Healing From The Heart, Inc.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
For the past 28 plus years I have been an entrepreneur facilitating the healing of my clients in a private practice style of business for which I am the President, CEO and Founder. The business is Vibrational Healing From The Heart, Inc. I serve clients through one-on-one and group healing sessions, speaking engagements, workshops, educational content sharing on social media and through paid membership communities to deepen the educational experience and benefits of primarily Conscious Heart Connection, Ho’oponopono and Aromatherapy. I believe all healing is self healing and is an “inside job” shall we say. Therefore, all the teaching and healing tools I share with my clients and my communities are designed to support their individual healing. And because I see all of us connected energetically, our individual healing supports the healing for the Human collective as well as Mother Earth. My Mission Statement is: To provide individual and group experiences to foster the remembering of our collective soul purpose of living consciously connected to our hearts and to expand the vibration of Love in the world to benefit all who dwell upon and including Mother Earth. My Vision Statement: My vision is a world where every human Being is intentionally and consciously connected to their Hearts and in perfect alignment with their soul’s purpose for being.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
Over the past 28 years I have with gratitude served 1000’s of clients in 18 countries on 6 continents. I have published numerous articles on vibrational healing, spirituality and aromatherapy and am a contributing author of “Feminism From a Spiritual Perspective” in “Beyond Burning Bras” and “The Heart Healer” in “Women Innovators 5: Leaders, Makers and Givers”. I am certified as a Healing Touch Practitioner, Medical Intuitive, Quantum Practitioner and Ho’oponopono Practitioner. I have been honored to serve my professional Nursing community by offering keynote presentations both locally and at International conferences and have been a Speaker at several conferences supporting the growth and development of entrepreneurs offering wisdom on Conscious Heart Connection and Ho’oponopono and facilitating guided meditations to assist the participants in connecting with their hearts and anchoring their intentions for that experience. I have also created Signature programs including the Inner Child Integration Process which supports the healing of childhood and adult trauma, the monthly New Moon Clearing Process and a weekly radio show “Live with Ilene Gottlieb ~ The Heart Healer” on The Heart Healer Radio Network where I am blessed to share spiritual wisdom, holistic approaches to living and live Akashic Records Readings. I will be turning 70 years old in a few days and I am so grateful to be able to be here on this beautiful planet of ours, be of service in my unique way and share the healing journey with all of you!
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
I am a long time fan of the Star Trek television series and movies. This may sound a bit odd but I would love to see our world adopt the philosophy of money not being needed as an exchange medium. Instead, everyone is provided with what they need and thrives, able to contribute in their unique way to the Human collective. This is my ideal world along with everyone living consciously from their hearts with themselves and each other.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?
I feel it is a growing energy at this time and that women are being more present in leadership positions worldwide. However, for me it is less about women being in leadership then it is about having heart-centered women and men in leadership positions. To accomplish this we are in need of changing the present mold of leadership. In order to create this, I believe we must begin by changing how we are parenting and guiding our children in our homes and schools. Not until then will the leadership focus in our communities, corporations and political organizations have a chance to focus on Humanity and our blessed Mother Earth from a place of Love and compassion in all decision-making processes. Love must be front and center in our minds in order for our world to change.
What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?
You are our future! I know that statement can feel weighted to some of you but truly, this is how it has always been. The children of our societies have always been the hope for each generation’s future and now, it is your turn, your responsibility. You are being given an opportunity to choose wisely how you will contribute to our world. I might invite you to begin where you are and ask yourself, “Am I being loving in my relationship with myself?” If not, do not go into judgment, for that will not change anything. Begin where you are and choose to ask the question often “What is my most loving choice” and choose that! For who we are BEing in our relationship with ourselves is reflected in how we are BEing in relationship with others and our life experiences. Everything begins with ourselves and expands out from there. And please remember, the illusion of being separate from each other is simply that, an illusion. From the energetic perspective we are all connected to each other no matter how far apart we are physically. When you breathe into your heart, a waveform of Love emanates from you and flows unimpeded in all directions, a gift of Love to everyone and everything in its path. This is the simplest and yet the most powerful gift you can give to yourself, to all of Humanity, Mother Earth and the Cosmos. Please know that you are loved dearly.
