What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?

Moving through countries started at a young age of 7 for me. Across traveling the world and moving countries, I have been an adventure enthusiast! The adrenaline of running your own startup with its fears, ups, and downs surely has had me hooked to it.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”

People. The Users. The Mothers. The meaningful Impact and Support created for Mothers. The Potential!

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

As the Founder of meetmumz, the idea is that no mother across geographies feels alone and with a simple swipe, is able to connect with another mother based on kids’ age, location, area, and interests. To extend our support to businesses run by mothers, I and my business partner Camille have started an initiative under meetmumz called Mother/Founders.

The new initiative honors the journey of mother/founders, sees their unique needs.💓, reckons that balancing is challenging and strongly believes we are a League of our own!🔥

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

1) Selected as one of the top 10 startups for hk demo day by alibaba,

2) Awarded HK jci jaycettes Female entrepreneur of the year 2021

3) Featured in famous publications like scmp, expat living, sassymama, honeycombers

5) Alibaba Video on Meetmumz has reached close to 200K viewership

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Women entrepreneurs no longer talk about “Limiting Beliefs” or stop themselves by telling them stories that are just a fiction of their minds! Collectively there is more power in our collaborations!

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?

It’s a powerful league of its own, that deserves its own limelight!! Yet, there is still a need to let the light shine further . There is a need to #payitforward.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle. It redefines the set notions of a job. If you are ready to bounce back after a failure, ready to take everything with a pinch of salt, ready to unlearn, relearn, fail and try again. Ready to try, there is nothing stopping you ! because if you won’t , who will?
