What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before the venture/ corporate journey?

Growing up in an unhappy, dysfunctional but typical family, I learned early on that happiness makes a big difference to the whole world. That drove me to study how to help people get to happiness as quickly as possible.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business/initiative? What motivated you within to say “YES, go for it!”

Woman Optimized is based on the Dalai Lama comment in 2008 that “the western woman will save the world”. I have long been drawn to making the world better, with the awareness that women are the nurturers, caretakers, and connectors within society. Women’s roles are more hidden, and structural in all of society, and are thus taken for granted and undervalued. Woman Optimized aims to change that for women. The pandemic brought to light the issues that we all knew existed about the inequality women experience in all areas of life, but especially economically, professionally, and in decision making. It was time to change the landscape for how women reach their potential and have the support they need to do it!

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

As the founder and CEO of Woman Optimized, we will provide jobs, leadership, and business opportunities for women. A personalized life guide, help, and optimization service for women. A never been done before, one stop shop, giving 24/7/365, at her fingertips coaching from the best coaches for her in any area of her life. We promote based on women’s excellence as a provider, not her marketing budget!

We want to bring women into their power and purpose, by first taking care of them, giving them the place to bring their gifts to the world, so that we can collectively heal our community and earth.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

I’ve won many awards and been honored to be featured on podcasts and television shows. I’ve written for magazines and hope to get my book completed soon!

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Every human moves into a feeling of hope and passion, knowing that collectively, when we are fully expressing our gifts and talents, that we make the world better. Never let fear cause you to settle or shut down. All of you are essential here. Don’t dim your light or play small.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women’s leadership today?

Because women are wired for cooperation and collaboration, now, of all times in history, there are networks and mentors to work on collectively building the pathways and support to being powerful decision makers. Collectively we are a force. When women compete with each other, we set ourselves back to playing in the man’s world. That’s how we stay disempowered and nothing can change.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

These are times to know your power and play big. Connect with networks and mentors. Support each other’s wins and setbacks. Be real, be vulnerable, be compassionate. We need each other to be big. No mean girl energy.
