Let’s create something amazing together!

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

Growing up, I was a quiet and imaginative child, who had a love of horses and enjoyed drawing them. Being small in height never held me back, but attending an all-girls school allowed me to hone my creative skills. Later, I pursued art college, eventually obtaining a three year degree in ceramics. Looking back on my journey, I am grateful for the opportunities that have enabled me to explore my passions. I am optimistic about the future and excited to see where my creativity takes me next.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”

The spark that ignited my ethical and sustainable brand came from a simple walk along the beach. As I wandered along the shoreline, I couldn’t help but notice the waste that had been washed up on the sand. This inspired me to create a brand that not only focuses on sustainability, but also champions ethical practices. I knew that I wanted to work with local and UK suppliers who share our core value and are committed to greener ways of doing business. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue on this journey and make a positive impact on the planet while creating stylish and sustainable products.

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

As the CEO and director of my ethical and sustainable brand, I wear many hats. It’s my job to oversee everything from finance to operations, marketing  to product development. But perhaps most importantly, I am committed to making a positive impact on the planet. From sourcing sustainable materials to ensuring fair labour practices, every decision I make is centered on creating a better, more equitable world. I am optimistic about the future and believe that by working together, we can all make a real difference.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

As a multi award winning brand, we are proud to be recognized for our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. We understand the importance of preserving the planet for future generations, which is why we work tirelessly to reduce our environmental impact and ensure our products are responsibly sourced. Our numerous accolades are a testament to our dedication, and we will continue to push ourselves to be even more sustainable and socially responsible. We believe that together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future for everyone.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

To all the young bussing women entrepreneurs out there, I would love to see a world where women are given the same opportunities as men in the workplace, with access to higher paid roles and supportive policies like paid childcare and education. The future is bright and optimistic-let’s work towards a world where women are empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?

Women are taking on more leadership roles, and we are seeing better practices and policies in the workplace. We still have a long way to go, but our optimism is strong and we are determined to continue pushing for a more equal world.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

Ladies, let’s embrace our passions and dreams. Don’t ever let obstacles hold you back. With determination and self belief, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Your journey may not always be easy, but your triumphs will be worth it. Follow your heart and never give up on what makes your soul sing. Let’s inspire each other and show the world what we are truly capable of!
