Lorina Owen is a Mindset and Manifestation Coach for ambitious, high achieving women who are ready to break through mental blockages, build incredible confidence, step into their worth and live a life wilder than their vision boards. She is from Canada, loves to travel and has a wild spirit at heart. She says that, “I always knew I was meant for more and I am so passionate about the work that I get to do.”

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

I grew up in Ontario Canada, my parents divorced when I was young. I had a fairly normal childhood aside from growing up with a narcissistic step parent which really affected me.  I struggled with low self worth, lack of confidence and anxiety and eventually suffered through an eating disorder all of which truly held me back in life.   I always had a desire to do something different, knew I was meant for more but I didn’t quite know what that was. I have always been a dreamer. It wasn’t until I decided to go all in on myself did I really see that our thoughts and beliefs create our reality and I was truly able to radically shift my life around.

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”

I never wanted another woman to feel the way I felt.  After so many years of lack of confidence, bad relationships, low self worth and never feeling good enough I saw the power that mindset and manifestation has after completely transforming my own life and I knew I had to bring this to other women and help them achieve their biggest desires and goals.  To see beyond their limits and for what is actually possible for them!

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

I want women to not be confined by their own limits.  I want to see more women succeed and earn more money to create a bigger impact in the world.  I truly believe that more women with soulful hearts and initiatives will raise the vibration of the planet and the collective.  I want to empower women to go after their biggest desires with passion and purpose. And I want to do this on a massive scale.   I want to be that example also for them because where I used to be I would have never dreamed this was possible for me.  But through this work I have been able to achieve some of my wildest dreams and still have so much more to do here.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

I was featured in one of the biggest spiritual publications in the UK – Soul and Spirit Magazine.  I launched my own podcast and have hosted transformative workshops, events and been a guest speaker in industry leading coach’s masterminds.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Absolutely!  I want to get my message out to as many people and women as possible

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?

I think there are incredible moves and growth happening. We have a long way to go but I do feel there are so many incredible and powerful women out there leading and being the examples that are so needed.  The ones who will help to change the future.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

Keep going and don’t give up!  Anything you desire is available to you. There is no such things as failure, only lessons learned and this is absolutely crucial in order to reach success.   Stay in your own lane and let go of others’ timeline. Trust in the journey and process.
