What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
I was born in the State of Arizona as a triplet to my brothers and I. We grew up close to one another as we often had the same friends, participated in the same extracurricular activities, and even had the same teacher and class together. Our parents were separated while we were young before getting back together and moving to the state of Texas during our early teen years. Moving never distracted me from my studies as learning came naturally to me. Starting as a student in elementary or primary school, I was awarded a student honor roll and graduated both high school and college with honors. While in college I studied Sociology and Political Science and brought forth an organization into campus called Theta Nu Xi, Multicultural Sorority Inc. This organization emphasized leadership, scholarship, sisterhood, service, and multiculturalism, and beside seven other women, we would participate in community service and host community events related to academics, diversity, and camaraderie.
After graduation I entered the workforce as an executive admin working for a politician in private practice as well as a corporate talent recruiter. It was here where I was inspired by working with individuals on a one to one bias and witnessing their personal growth. I stayed for roughly 3 years while learning about astrology before deciding to bring radical transformation to my life and getting certified as a holistic life coach.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”
The leap of faith came for me after I realized I wanted to be in the business of directly serving people and out of the business of serving corporations. I was witnessing people who were fearlessly making profound changes and improvements in their lives and the lives of others. While being in corporate I felt that there was more meant for me than sitting at an office desk. Through the years I started to uncover what that was and made the changes. It was here where I realized I can also support people in taking their leap of faith.
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
As a Holisitc Life Coach, I use reiki and astrology to bring healing around self doubt, In my role, I am an advocate for taking control of every area of life with passion, authenticity, and emotional fulfillment. I understand that we often get stuck in the routine or the dream we want to build seems out of reach, however I’m here to serve as a mirror for you to realize and manifest forth all your inspirations. Astrology and reiki come in as a tool to bring clarity on your life path, release emotional blockages, and discover your natural born skills and talents. Then we dive in with coaching to support you in your own understanding of your life, career, and relationships and how that supports the legacy you are building. My goal is to encourage others in their creativity so they can live a life with confidence, joy, and connection to their authentic self.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
In learning how to follow my intuition, I’ve gotten amazing opportunities that I never dreamed of happening, much less happening so soon!
One of them is that I got the opportunity to write my first book that was published as an anthology piece for the coaching certification I was participating in. Out of all the stories that was published in the book, I was blessed to be chosen as the face of the front cover and have my story be told. Then less than a year later, I started partnering with businesses with a similar story to bring change and transformation within the community. It was here that I had a celebrity come and sit with me as a client. I thought about how miraculous it is that once you begin to trust yourself and your vision, the universe brings you surprising and rewarding opportunities.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
If given the opportunity, I would like to see more of a heaven on earth reality in the world. This means a world of peace, love, and support of one another. Here, the key, lies in consciously choosing to leave each person we encounter a little brighter than we found them. Imagine the ripple effect that would ensue – an open mind lighting the way for another, an open heart echoing in countless acts of kindness and compassion. It’s a revolution ignited by intention and nurtured by service-based leadership that’s about empowering others. It’s about stepping into the role of a guide, illuminating the path for fellow beings to discover their own inner light and join the dance of transformation. By embodying these principles of openness, service, and connection, we ignite a collective spark of transformation.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
More and more I see women stepping into leadership positions advocating for their worth, talent, skills, and ability to serve their teams in a meaningful way. Women are multifaceted human beings capable of nourishing multiple responsibilities at the same time and it’s so inspiring to see a woman embody fluidity, nourishment, inner strength, and resiliency (her natural nature) within leadership. It serves as a catalyst for change within the workforce to move into selfless service where teams can benefit from receiving rather than from self motivated hustle culture.
What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?
Every young person is filled with innate imagination and creativity. Cultivate it, grow it, and share it because it is the focal point that will illuminate your inner radiant spark. That spark will carry you through as you build your vision, your purpose, your dream with confidence, audacity, and inspiration.
