Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?

I spent the better part of the last 15 years using the degree I earned in college. I worked at one of the fastest growing sports apparel brands in the world and learned so many incredible things in my time there.

Throughout the pandemic, I struggled. I found myself being called to more fulfillment and purpose professionally.

Overwhelmed, overstimulated and unhappy. I felt stuck, lost and uninspired. I lost myself, my marriage was at risk, and I wasn’t the Mom my girls deserved.

Enough was enough: I got a coach.

Everything shifted. How I thought about myself, my outlook on life, possibilities blossomed.

I redefined my purpose and reimagined my life. Slowly but surely, I shifted from a place filled with fear and overwhelm into abundance. I knew I had tapped into something powerful.

After more than 15 years in Corporate America, I followed my heart in pursuit of true impact and fulfillment. I believe you’re never too [fill in the blank] to re-define yourself and become a better version of you.

My passion for this work stems from my own struggles. The Power of She Wellness was born to guide other Moms on their own journeys towards their knowledge.

We are the nucleus of our household, and deserve to thrive.

Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

I have truly married my passions for health+wellness and coaching.

My coaching practices utilize the pillars of wellness to help women transform their lives.

It’s now my mission to empower busy, overwhelmed Moms to prioritize themselves and re-claim their identity, purpose and energy.

The age old saying is true — You have to fill your cup first, and then serve others from the overflow.

Together we reconnect to your worth, break cycles, and lead your family well.

What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?

Overwhelmingly supportive.

I believe there is a movement underway for women to advocate for their needs inclusive of the mental load of motherhood, pre/postpartum care, guaranteed maternity leave, societal expectations of mothers etc.

I’m grateful to get to shine a light on the fact that mothers are deserving of the same nurturing they provide to everyone else and truly believe the world would be a better place if mothers took better care of themselves.

It’s also been encouraging to have older women share that they wish they had access to services like mine when their children were younger and how much that could have helped them when they were “in the thick of it”.

How has your life changed because of your venture?

I have reconnected with myself in a completely authentic way. I am driven by purpose and helping others to transform their lives sets my soul on fire. I attack my work with renewed energy and welcome growth, learning, and stretching myself to my edges.

As a mother, wife, and friend, I feel less stress and deeper connections in my relationships thanks to that energy and all of the skills I have learned throughout my coaching journey as well.

Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.

There will never be a “perfect time”. You shouldn’t have to wait until the kids are older or things are less busy to take care of yourself. Prioritizing yourself is necessary for change.

You are always only one decision away from a completely different life.
