She is an entrepreneur, servant leader, mentor, coach, and her number one role is mother. Her purpose and passion is to wake up everyday and show others what they are capable of and to create the space for them to want things for themselves that they may never have ever thought possible for themselves. What sets her soul on fire is watching women step into their power, use their voices, and live authentically.
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
Though my parents got divorced at a very young age, I was always supported by an incredible family. I lived a very “status quo” life until I knew that was not the path I was meant to be on. My background is in retail operations, and I am so thankful for my time there because it would initiate the fire in me to want to mentor others to grow and step into leadership.
Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”
It was my time in retail operations and other entrepreneurial endeavors when I realized that at the core of what I did, what I enjoyed the most was being part of others’ growth journeys and that is when I very organically transitioned into the coaching space and never looked back!
Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?
The impact that I am making is I show women how to master their mind and energy so that they can elevate their self-worth and wealth.
Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?
I think my biggest achievement in addition to raising my incredible children is continual investing in myself and while being mom I was able to successfully get certified in several modalities.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
Yes! As much as we have made strides, I truly believe that we still have so much work to do with empowering women to believe that they can do and be what they desire. There are still many double standards and contrasts between men and women that I would love to see minimize. As well, I want to empower women to have the financial backing to always have choices and to never feel that they need to settle because they do not have the financial security to do otherwise.
Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?
Agreed! I work with so many incredible female leaders that it gives me goosebumps! I think having more and more female leadership is so important because it shows other women what is possible for them as well because when we see something for someone else or admire something about someone else that means that we can see it for ourselves as well.
What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?
I would say never to stop believing in the power of your dreams and to never underestimate the power you have to make a huge ripple effect during your time here.
