Regina Huber tells us that, “As the CEO of TRANSFORM YOUR PERFORMANCE, I drive bold, value-driven, and heart-centered leadership of self and others.

My eclectic experience on five continents started in Germany and includes leadership positions at BCG as well as ownership of businesses in Argentina, Brazil, and the U.S. This experience shaped me into a multicultural Transformational Leadership Coach, International Inspirational Speaker, and Author of “Speak up, Stand out and Shine.” I co-authored three other books and regularly write articles for publications in the U.S. and Africa, where I have been featured by multiple media outlets. In the past, I hosted my own TV show “What’s Your Spark?.I am also a Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ)® Enhanced Skills Practitioner, and I created four signature coaching frameworks: Powerful Leadership Transformation (PLT)™, New-Paradigm Leadership (NPL)™, The T.h.r.i.v.i.n.g. Leader Formula™, Your Dream Salary™.

I have a passion for travel and dance, and I love inspiring others to express their brilliance and live a freakin’ amazing life! Everything I do is in the service of freedom.”

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

I grew up on a farm in Germany as the shyest kid in the village. However, my adventurous spirit pushed me out into the world, first to Munich, then abroad. My international journey started with seven years in Madrid/Spain, where I was offered my first leadership position and from where I also traveled to Portugal regularly for business. My job then took me to São Paulo/Brazil for a while and then back to Germany to work on some European projects. After spending a year in Argentina & Brazil as a consultant, I accepted a leadership role in San Francisco/U.S. A few years later, I launched my own venture in Buenos Aires/Argentina, and I continued my entrepreneurial journey in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. Eventually, I moved to New York City/U.S. in 2012 to open my current coaching, speaking, and training business Transform Your Performance.

The only role model I’ve ever had is Pippi Longstocking… because she is someone who truly lives life on her own terms, she’s courageous, and boldly embodies her uniqueness. And I share her desire for freedom and adventures. Everything I do is in the service of freedom… a treasure that has become blatantly valuable in these past few years. Through my inspirational message and my holistic coaching approach, I am aiming to help people gain greater freedom in all senses.

Tell us something about your initiative/business. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

At Transform Your Performance, I offer customized one-on-one coaching programs, groups programs, training sessions, presentations and talks for conferences and corporate events, as well as some online courses. In a nutshell, I help my clients, most of whom are leaders or aspiring leaders, reach their next career goal (such as promotions), while sharpening their leadership skills and enhancing their leadership presence.

While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?

I did not experience any pandemic. We know that this was a construct (without going into the details here), which was long planned. I want to make it very clear that I am not playing into this narrative, and the words we use make a difference.

The imposed lockdowns took all my 2020 speaking engagements away starting on March 9, when I was scheduled to deliver my signature talk at a NYC-based financial institution. Some of these engagements I had nurtured during years. For example, I was just hired as the keynote speaker for an event in Abuja/Nigeria, and other destinations with confirmed gigs were Kigali/Rwanda, Kansas City/U.S., London/U.K., Honolulu/U.S., Nairobi/Kenya,… A major training engagement was in the works for Lagos/Nigeria, and I was also in the process of co-creating an event in Johannesburg/South Africa, and had signed an agreement for a collaboration project in Kampala/Uganda. All these exciting opportunities (and I probably forgot some) disappeared from my calendar literally in a day.

Because I value freedom and I am not to be locked down, I left New York City in March 2020 and have since been spending time in other parts of the world, while still keeping my base in New York City.

What has been the response of the users/consumers towards your venture?

My clients get wonderful results, which range from enhanced visibility to effective leadership skills to more engaged & happier teams, to promotions and substantial pay raises. But that’s not all. Because when my clients feel more recognized and less stressed, their relationships both at work and outside of it improve. One client recently said working with me transformed her entire life.

There are numerous testimonials you can find on my website as well as on my LinkedIn profile.

How has your life changed because of your initiative/venture?

It’s all about growth. To serve my clients adequately, I’ve had to constantly challenge myself to learn and grow. Business ownership also requires resilience, confidence, and owning who you are. My self-awareness has increased exponentially through my projects.

Do you have anyone who is the biggest support system in your life? Please let us know.

My original family has always been there for me. And I have some friends that I absolutely trust.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity? OR Share a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.

I want to see more courageous, bold, value-driven leaders stand up for what’s right, even if this goes against the mainstream narrative. The freedom of humanity is at stake.
