I’m a certified naturopathic Nutritionist and sleep coach who uses ancestral knowledge and technology to help people improve sleep and performance, having an impact on general health. I’m on a mission to help as many people as possible to sleep well and have outstanding health.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

I’m originally from Brazil but I have lived over half of my life in the UK. I’ve had so many different kinds of jobs and that gave me a vast experience in many areas and made me learn a lot about people and different perspectives.

My early years were in Brazil and they were happy but at the same time there were a lot of difficulties. I grew up with an abusive/psychopath step father, that made me grow up a lot faster and made me more resilient as well. Growing up with trauma made me more aware of myself and also made me realise that our past doesn’t have to define our future. Even in difficult times my mother has always taught us to see the bright side in every situation and that is what fuelled me to keep going and to chase my dreams. That’s what I’ve been doing!

Every industry that is now a large-scale, top-notch business once started as a small idea in the minds of entrepreneurs. What was that idea or motivation that made you start your business /initiative? What motivated you within to say YES, go for it!”

My mother had Cancer and passed away back in 2013. I was always interested in health but after her death I had the urge to study it in more depth and that’s when I decided to study naturopathic nutrition, from there I learned about health coaching and fell in love with it. Since then I haven’t stopped and just dove in deeper in my studies and with the pandemic I saw the need to help people even more in an area that was overlooked by the health industry for so long: Sleep! And so here I am to fulfill my duty and get people sleeping well.

Tell us something about your initiative or current role. What is it about, and what impact are you trying to make?

I created the Primordial Sleep Lab, which is a program to educate people about their own bodies, how to take responsibility for their own health and how to use ancestral knowledge and technology to improve sleep and health in general. I’m trying to inspire people to take action and use preventive medicine in order to avoid sickness later in life. Most chronic diseases are preventable with good lifestyle choices.

Your journey and your vision are very inspiring, but are there any achievements or accomplishments you would like to mention?

Helping over 100 people learn about themselves and create conscious, healthy lifestyles has been very rewarding!!

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

I would love to see people more aware of themselves. Our body is the only thing we have from the day we are born till the day we die and most of us know nothing about how our own bodies work, what to feed it, how to deal with emotions and so on. My mission is to educate people about it so they can make conscious decisions to better their lives and health.

Women are a growing force in the workplaces worldwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. There are cracks in glass ceilings everywhere, with many women breaking through to carve out a space right at the top of the pyramid. What are your thoughts about women leadership today?

Women have always been leaders in a way or another.  Women have always achieved greatness and we just have to keep going.. I don’t like this battle of sexes our society has created.. Men and Women are complimentary of one another, we need both energy and to stand together.

What would you want to say to our young women leaders/audience reading this?

Small and consistent steps lead to greatness. Don’t ever let society or anyone place you in a victim mentality. You are so much more than whatever happened to you in the past. Your past doesn’t define your future. Just believe in yourself and you can achieve anything you want!
