Angie Dobransky
Angie Dobransky tells us that, “I’ve done a bunch of cool stuff in my life. I spent 20 years in fashion as a manager, a retail buyer, a wholesaler, and a sales manager. I developed the skills to set goals, build strategic plans, and hit targets while managing a virtual and national team. I owned a business coaching franchise for a dozen years. I honed my skills as a coach, began a lifelong journey of development and growth, and discovered my ability to transform businesses and their owners. I published a book, Life Lessons in Success, to share my story and teach others what I learned.
I am an award-winning coach, trainer, author, and speaker who coaches people toward their greatest success in business and life. I am a trusted partner to business owners and executives and empower them to build outstanding companies, achieve their visions, and impact the world. My husband and I currently split their time between Washington, DC, Daytona Beach, and Todos Santos, Mexico.”
Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
I spent 20 years working in the fashion industry as a buyer and account executive for major brands like Liz Claiborne, Monet, Nicole Miller and others. As a single mother, balancing a corporate career I was pulled in many directions. It was hectic and exhausting and exhilarating and exciting and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything in the world! But, when I reached my corporate crisis point and knew it was time to move on, I was ready for something different that allowed me the time and energy to reach my personal goals as well as my professional ones in a more balanced and thoughtful way.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
We have 5 star ratings on Google and Facebook and have received several awards including Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Woman of the year. The greatest response has been the transformation of my clients. Working with people over the long term and watching them grow and realize their goals is a huge reward. When people write reviews of my work with statements like “There are no words to describe how lucky I am to have Angie as my coach” it is a deep and humbling achievement.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
I have the freedom to live my life the way I choose. I set my own hours, travel on my own schedule and have the freedom to arrange my life and business in a way that serves both. I have met so many, amazing people and learned about so many businesses. It has provided a wealth of knowledge and opportunity. I have been to conferences in South Africa and spoken on stages in Las Vegas, New Orleans, Washington, DC and more. It has been an amazing ride so far.
Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.
We are in complete control of our lives and we have no control over the lives of others. The sooner we realize this, the sooner we are empowered to live our dream life.
