Tell us about your life before the venture/leading up to your venture?

I am a business transformation leader with 20+ years of international executive management experience in the luxury sector. I’ve led SME expansion into 25+ countries, after starting my career with eight years in integrated, multicultural agencies.

Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

The vision of the FemTech Association of Asia is a world with available, accessible and affordable healthcare for all women. We are the region’s first industry network for FemTech founders, professionals, investors and enthusiasts uniting to improve women’s health through technology solutions.

What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?

Through the FemTech Association of Asia’s four key service pillars for members – thought leadership, programming, amplification and community-building – we have had a positive response from FemTech Founders across Southeast Asia and beyond. We are also excited by the engagement of enthusiasts who have heard of FemTech and want to learn more about this growing industry and the healthcare solutions being developed.

How has your life changed because of your venture?

My curiosity is rewarded daily, learning so much from the brilliant global FemTech community. In addition, it’s been rewarding to create and build a community with the purpose of helping raise awareness of women’s healthcare needs across Asia.

Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.

To quote Laurel Thatcher Ulrich: “Well behaved women seldom make history.” The quote itself has an interesting history, but at face value, it reminds me to model my leadership after the many strong women who paved the way for me to have more choices in life. I hope through the FemTech Association of Asia we are able to inspire more women to start (FemTech) businesses or simply to take a first step towards better health.
