Kat Polsinelli

Kat Polsinelli  is a resilient entrepreneur, coach, speaker, and podcaster.

She tells us that, “From performing on stage at 10 to navigating teenage pregnancy and enduring an abusive relationship, I have emerged courageous and empowered. I even have an inspiring love story which led me to marry my soulmate in a symbolic cave ceremony. As the founder of The Lotus Effect, I empower individuals to rise above challenges and unlock their potential through a powerful mindset with customized strategies and operations. My mission is to guide others on their lotus journey, transforming muddy waters into beautiful, fulfilled lives.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

I had a great childhood. I was always the outgoing, ambitious type. Even as a mother at 16yrs I still had a drive to prove I could make it. I graduated my junior year of high school, second in class and president of the student council. Growing up I thrived on challenging myself and pushing my own limits just to see what I was capable of. I have always had big goals which at the time was also a big interest for me as well and that was singing.

Tell us something about your initiative/business. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

The Lotus Effect is more than just a coaching business. It is a business founded on empowering other entrepreneurs to see their own greatness and go for it. My company consists of coaching, speaking, and running a podcast. All of these have one common denominator, which is to meet people where they are and show them where they can go through coaching, sharing other’s stories, and sharing my own. We focus more on guiding you and empowering you to rise from the muddy, murky waters so that you can blossom into what is uniquely you.

What has been the response of the users/consumers towards your venture?

From podcasting to teaching to coaching I get a lot of similar shares, which is I love your energy and I feel like I can just open up and tell you anything. These are two things I strive for! I love bringing energy to a conversation and I aim to be very open and non-judgmental as I know what it is like to feel judged and shamed. My clients and those that participate in the masterminds I teach say they love how I break down things in such a simple way that allows them to put it into action instead of standing there over complicating the situation.

How has your life changed because of your initiative/venture?

My life has changed dramatically both personally and professionally!! I have learned what limiting beliefs are and how to release those, how to converse in a state of neutrality, and how to let go of the corporate way of managing your habits and time and creating something that feels so much more aligned with the way I operate. Not only has this helped with making space for my clients but it has also drastically changed how I speak with my teenagers, my husband, and my family.

Do you have anyone who is the biggest support system in your life? Please let us know.

My family for sure….especially my husband and my 2 boys. They are always asking how things are and giving me a big high five when I have something to celebrate. They help around the house and even tell me it’s cool, don’t worry about dinner tonight. 🙂 As someone who is used to being the mother who worked a 9-5p plus ran the household for some many years, it is great to know I can ask for help and I immediately have people there.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity? OR Share a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.

For anyone out there listening or reading this, please know that change isn’t always the easiest and yet at the same time it is so rewarding. I have big changes in store for this world and you can too. Our voices need to be heard and understood. Just know that means making time to hear others and understanding them as well. This is how we grow as a society.
