Kelly Mattarocci

Kelly Mattarocci holds a CPA, CGMA, and an MBA. Her education resides in her mother’s insistence on obtaining an education. One lesson that she has learnt is to be thankful for everyday.

Generally, she lives a very quiet life in Wimberley, Texas which is located between San Antonio and Texas.

What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

My growing up years were in a small town, Texas. We ran, played, stayed outside until the sun went down, and drank water out of the neighbors’ hoses when thirsty.

I am always trying to improve myself personally and professionally. My personal goal is to age with grace. Professionally my goal is to build a firm and grow with the responsibilities and challenges.

My interests include working out, water skiing, and my people and pet family.

My role models are primarily women that I have known personally that have/do show strength, empathy and courage. They are not afraid to show fear and ask for help. All the while, providing wisdom and grace.

Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

I started my firm to provide a level of customer service that communicates urgency to their needs and challenges. To be a trusted advisor, to engage with clients regularly and timely, and to help clients grow their companies with executive level analysis, reporting, and business tax expertise.

The industries we currently service are medical and adult use cannabis, professional services, construction, and technology.

While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?

Personally, the pandemic did not change my life much because we live a quiet life. Professionally the pandemic rapidly pushed forward fintech and a new level of business intelligence which I have lived since 2012 when I started digitizing back offices and developing cross-organizational reporting by breaking down databases existing in a silo.

What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?

Awesome!

On Linkedin, we have gained 78 organic followers in a handful of months. 21 followers happened in one week.

I have been asked to be a graduate mentor with a ground floor program with Texas State University’s McCoy Business School.

Additionally, I am the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of themistycarolproject.org. The Misty Carol Project specializes in helping to educate and connect families with the resources they need to protect and care for their loved ones.

Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?

Kindness.

Care about the product or service being provided.

Care about the clients.

Give a motivational message for the audience/women who are reading this.

You will be scarred. Do not let your inner self get in your way.
