What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.

During my formative years in Armenia, part of the former USSR, I had a lively upbringing as a tomboy. I would often engage in hockey and soccer matches with the boys, occasionally finding myself in the midst of friendly scuffles. Growing up in a household with both parents working as engineers, education held immense importance. Interestingly, I used to believe that college was merely a natural extension of high school, unaware of the choices available to me. As a professional athlete who represented the Armenian National volleyball team for four years, I experienced firsthand the physical injuries and pain that come with such rigorous training. This personal journey became the driving force behind my decision to enter the pain relief industry, where I could specialize in helping others overcome their own challenges with pain. Since I started traveling at a young age, participating in championships, I developed a strong passion for exploring the world, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. One of my earliest role models is my father. He was a smart man who taught me to never give up, no matter what challenges I face. His teachings have stuck with me, reminding me to keep going and stay determined in everything I do. My father’s lessons continue to inspire me as I navigate through life.

Tell us something about your initiative/business. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?

The reason I became a licensed pain resolution practitioner nearly three decades ago was my frustration and a strong belief that no one should ever learn to live with pain. I love to share empowering insights, actionable steps and self-help techniques that can make a real difference. The frustration of people seeking solutions is a journey that many can relate to. And I’m excited to provide the tools they need to take control of your pain.

While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on both my professional and personal life. Like many other businesses, mine had to close temporarily, resulting in a substantial financial strain. However, there were some positive aspects that emerged. One of them was the opportunity to work from home, which I discovered I thoroughly enjoyed. Conducting consultations through platforms like Zoom provided convenience and flexibility, allowing me to connect with clients remotely. While the pandemic presented difficult circumstances, it also prompted me to adapt and find new ways to continue serving and supporting my clients, demonstrating the resilience and adaptability that is crucial in times of uncertainty.

What has been the response of the users/consumers towards your venture?

Over the course of nearly three decades, I have built a thriving practice without the need for advertising. This success is owed in large part to the unwavering support, loyalty, and referrals of my clients, to whom I am immensely grateful. I am also honored to have been recognized by Massage Magazine for my extensive industry experience, having dedicated over 20 years to the field. One of my notable achievements includes having a case study published and winning recognition in the Science of Massage international online publication. You can find the link to this publication on my website at https://laststop4pain.com/about-ani-papazyan/. Additionally, I had the privilege of accompanying Janet Jackson as her massage therapist during her Velvet Rope world tour, an opportunity that further enriched my professional journey. These ventures and achievements have shaped my career and allowed me to make a meaningful impact in the field of pain relief.

How has your life changed because of your initiative/venture?
