Evgeniya is a passionate health advocate for moms. The mother of two school-aged children, she specializes in helping to create lasting lifestyle transformations that bring energy and vibrancy back into their lives. Through her programs, she teaches her clients how to tap into fat stores as an energy source, listen to their bodies, and meet all of their body’s needs while enjoying a healthy weight loss. Additionally, Evgeniya sets an example for her clients by leading them through the process and showing them that it can be done. She encourages others to become the best version of themselves and enjoy the journey along the way.
What were your initial years of growing up like? Tell us about your life before starting your corporate journey/venture/initiative.
My initial years of growing up were shaped by a combination of independence, resilience, and the understanding that health is the most important wealth. Growing up in post-USSR Kazakhstan, my family life was relatively simple without any major luxuries. But even with limited resources, I had everything I needed and more because of my parents’ sacrifices and hard work.
At around sixth grade, my life took a turn when my mom started to struggle with multiple sclerosis. She was misdiagnosed multiple times which only made her symptoms worsen until she became wheelchair-bound. This meant that I had to grow up fast, take on more responsibility, learn how to be independent, and manage the household tasks necessary for the wellbeing of my family unit. From taking care of my younger brother to grocery shopping and clothes shopping – these responsibilities equipped me with an understanding that physical health is paramount in order to have a high quality of life. Seeing both my mom’s struggles as well as my uncle’s battles with alcohol addiction further drove this lesson home for me – something that eventually led me down the path towards starting a corporate venture dedicated to helping people live healthier lives through proper nutrition and fitness education.
My role models during this time were individuals who have inspired me throughout life; from my grandmother who taught me about resilience and self-belief, to famous athletes like Maria Sharapova who spoke openly about her own struggles with mental health but still found success despite it all. It inspired me greatly as somebody whose mother suffered from MS, since Sharapova’s story reminded me that there are still ways for us dreamers out there if we just stay focused on our goals and be fearless when it comes to trying new things or achieving something great. I looked up to figures like Steve Jobs for believing in himself even in the face of overwhelming odds; and Elon Musk who proved again & again that it is possible to pursue one’s passion regardless of external factors.
My goal growing up was always centered around leading a healthy lifestyle while having some fun along the way as well – this has been something that I have tried to maintain throughout my adult life right up until now! With regards to business ventures it has always been about creating meaningful solutions that help people achieve their health goals while also providing them with knowledge they can use beyond the scope of just physical fitness – whether it’s general wellness tips or understanding nutrition labels better so they can make healthier choices every day.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
Wellness with Evie is a nutrition counseling and health coaching organization focused on providing individualized plans to help people create vibrant health, energy, and wellbeing. Unlike traditional diets – which are often restrictive and unsustainable – our customized programs are designed to help you make lasting changes that are both enjoyable and nutritionally beneficial. We believe in empowering individuals to take control of their own health and wellness journey, as well as promoting an intuitive approach to nourishing your body.
Our health coaches are dedicated to helping people find their optimal level of health through education, encouragement, and ongoing support. We strive to provide a safe space for clients to learn about proper nutrition without fear or shame. We understand that everyone has unique needs when it comes to developing healthy habits; that’s why we work with each client on an individual basis in order to identify the best strategies for success.
Part of our mission is also helping clients become more mindful of the foods they eat so they can make better choices on their own. Through personalized education sessions, we provide accurate information that allows you to become more aware of how different food components affect your body and overall well being. Our goal is not only helping you reach your desired weight or fitness goals but also teaching you how to incorporate healthier habits into your daily life so that you can maintain a balanced lifestyle long-term.
While the global pandemic of COVID-19 is associated primarily with adversities, it has also brought about a true boom in startups, with successful entrepreneurship in many countries. The pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. Would you like to share your experience on a personal and professional level?
The global pandemic of COVID-19 has certainly been an adversity, but it has also had a positive impact on startups and entrepreneurship. On a personal level, the pandemic affected me in two main ways. First, it forced me to face some hard truths about my health. Before the pandemic hit I had a health scare that highlighted just how far away from good health I was – I wasn’t taking care of myself and it showed not only in my physical appearance, but in my overall energy levels. This experience pushed me to make changes which have had long-lasting impacts on my life.
On a professional level, the pandemic has been incredibly inspiring for me as well. It motivated me to start a passion project that I never would have considered before: helping other moms who struggle with weight gain and low energy due to poor diet choices or lack of exercise by providing resources and support that helps them take control of their lives again. This project has been hugely beneficial both to myself and to others; it’s allowed me to learn new skills while giving back in a meaningful way.
The pandemic has also opened up new opportunities for entrepreneurs all over the world. With people spending more time at home than ever before, there is an increased demand for products and services that can help them make the most out of staying indoors – whether that’s new fitness programs or online streaming services or even virtual event planning companies – all of which could be a great way for ambitious entrepreneurs to take advantage of this unique situation. It is also worth noting that during times like these, local businesses are especially vulnerable and need our support more than ever before; supporting small businesses can be another great way for entrepreneurs to give back while growing their own ventures at the same time.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
The response to Wellness with Evie has been overwhelmingly positive. Our clients have found that the individualized approach to nutrition counseling and health coaching helps them make lasting changes in their lifestyle, break free from restrictive diets, and foster a better relationship with food. Many of our clients have reported improved energy levels, better sleep, and a heightened sense of wellbeing.
We’ve also seen numerous success stories from our clients who have achieved their weight loss goals or improved their diet overall. Seeing these successes has been incredibly gratifying for us as we strive to help people lead healthier lives through mindful eating and nutrition education.
How has your life changed because of your venture?
My venture into helping people find a better relationship with health, nutrition, and their bodies has changed my life in a profoundly positive way. Through my work I’ve seen the transformation that comes when someone is able to break free from restrictive diets and unhealthy eating patterns, create healthy habits that suit them and their lifestyle, and start embracing a balanced approach to nutrition.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this work has been seeing clients gain more energy and vitality by nourishing their bodies with whole foods and fueling themselves with balanced meals. They feel so empowered when they identify what works best for their unique needs and goals, set realistic goals for themselves, and take steps towards making those changes. It’s an amazing feeling to watch that transformation happen!
I have also noticed an increase in self-confidence among those who have worked with me. Improved nutrition has helped many clients reduce stress levels, improve sleep quality, regulate hormones more effectively, go off medication or cut down on dosage amounts, lose weight (if needed) in a sustainable manner, look younger through improved skin health, and feel better overall about themselves. This level of confidence was often missing before they started on their journey with me.
It’s been incredibly fulfilling to be part of the process of helping people move away from dieting culture – which often leads to mental anguish – towards reclaiming control over their own health and wellbeing. To witness them become aware of how they truly deserve to care for themselves – physically as well as emotionally – is an indescribable experience. This venture has reminded me why I chose this path in the first place: to help people lead healthier lives through a holistic approach involving both body & mind.
Would you like to share with our young budding women entrepreneurs the change you would like to see in the world if given an opportunity?
If given the opportunity, I would love to share with young budding women entrepreneurs the potential of creating a world where health and wellness are prioritized over restrictive dieting and the pressures of “body image perfection.” Current marketing messages often prey on insecurities with promises of quick results that only result in short-term success. We can do better than this. Through nutrition counseling and health coaching, we can empower people to make sustainable changes that will improve their overall quality of life; from having energy to take on their day, to feeling connected with their body and having a healthy self-image.
I believe in providing education about real nutrition without making someone feel guilty for what they choose to eat or how they look. By taking an individualized approach we can help people understand their own unique dietary needs based on their lifestyle, medical history, goals, and preferences. My passion is helping others overcome so-called “bad habits” by focusing on finding solutions instead of pointing out why something is wrong or not working.
Change starts from within: if each person takes ownership of their own health journey, the ripple effect will be incredible! When it comes to weight loss specifically, long-term success hinges heavily on developing new habits and lifestyle adjustments that become second nature over time – this kind of transformation does not occur overnight but if supported through small steps it has lasting effects far beyond what any fad diet could ever provide.
My hope is that young women entrepreneurs everywhere will recognize the power they have to create meaningful change in our society; by advocating for real health solutions that take into account all factors affecting health beyond just food intake. Let’s take back control from oppressive marketing messages and create space for empowerment through self-care practices like nutrition counseling, mindfulness meditation, yoga, and more!
