Samantha Boardman is originally from Stockport in the North West of England. She founded Spending Made Easy in July 2016, after being made redundant from BAE Systems 12 months before. At Spending Made Easy they are experts at budgeting, and take all the stress, worry, panic, uncertainty, and often sleepless nights out of people’s mundane and tedious day-to-day finances and budgeting.
Tell us about your life before the venture/ leading up to your venture?
Before being made redundant in 2015, I worked for British Aerospace and looked after the logistics for various airlines all over the world. I had 12 months off and did lots of volunteer work before I started my small business in July 2016.
Tell us something about your organization. What is it about and how is it helpful for people?
Spending Made Easy is a great small business which takes the stress and the sleepless nights out of your day to day finances and budgeting. We help people get on track with their regular, often stressful financial obligations and commitments. We have MANY life changing and extremely epic success stories.
What has been the response of the consumers towards your venture?
The responses to my services are mind blowing. I have many (many) success stories and lots are very kindly shared via Facebook and Google reviews. Often the best ones are not “published” due to the client being very private (I often request to share the story – but to change the names).
How has your life changed because of your venture?
Helping people manage their day to day finances is fabulous. It makes me happy every single day. I am good at budgeting but not everyone is and passing on my knowledge and guidance to get life-changing results just makes me want to do it even more – especially when I get emails of thanks ALL the time.
